The only historically inaccurate sword I would buy.There’s just something about a 2 handed Viking sword that is appealing.But of course they didn’t exist as far as we know. An era that relied on the shield wall as an attack formation would have little use for a two handed weapon. It would just make you dead weight.

  2. start-missing-everybody said: Two-handed swords look cool. That’s why the Hollywood version of the Dark Ages have them. (I just wish Hollywood would give some love to shields, too. Oh, and mail that actually works.)
